These tips are dramatically better than the stock gels which come with these headphones. The stock gels are largely responsible in my opinion for the erroneous reputation these headphones have of not having good bass plus they have a nasty habit of popping off and Apple doesn't offer replacements, so you'll need these eventually anyway. While it is true that these will not deliver the Beats-style "boom car" bass no matter what you do, bass is quite satisfying with the comply tips. They are a game changer as far as performance of the Apple IEMs goes. Get the big ones. They compress to whatever size you need and fit more snugly. I just wish you could get them in black which would not show discoloration from earwax as much as the grey.

After spending weeks trying the different sizes of the mesh caps that came with the Apple In-Ear Headphones, I was about ready to toss them. Nothing would keep the phones in my ears when I worked out. Luckily, I read about the Comply Whoomp! foam tips. The very first time I used them, they worked great. They didn't come out once.
Thank you. Gracia. Merci f'n beaucoup!

The Whoomps for the Apple earbuds are awesome. In a way that no sound gets lost. You hear it all. Your surrounding is gone, vanished. Only sound remains. And that's exactly what I was looking for. I commute every day in a train filled with unwanted noise. Music was the answer but only music no leakage. Whoops provide. Soft and pleasant to the ear. Where other buds fell out these remain even when sweating a little. One thing, you have to keep them clean from ear debris. Great product, good pricing and even better service from the USA instead of buying them from the Netherlands.

Every earbud tip I've ever tried couldn't handle my big ear holes. These do, plus they're comfortable and they sound great. Will buy more.

These foam tips remain secure on my Apple headphones so that I do not lose them. The aural quality is good.

The sound from my headphones seems to have increased by 25%. isolation is brutal. The confidence to take off the headphones quickly or pulling or accident and not lose the caps that come standard is unsurpassed.
There is no way to remove it without breaking the foam.
For cleaning is impossible, and appearance after 10 days is very different from the original and dislike much

I've been using these Whoomp! foam tips with my Apple In-Ear headphones for almost a year now and I still love them. They keep the headphones in my ears much better than the stock tips and the noise isolation is superb.
I ordered the size small foam tips and they do create a bit of pressure in my ears that can become slightly uncomfortable after extended periods of use. But I would have to imagine I just have narrow ear canals.
The only other con is that ear wax does get stuck to these without any way to clean them (that I know of). Not a major downside, but they didn't look at all pristine soon after I started using them.
Overall, I love these foam tips. They enhance the experience of Apple In-Ear headphones by enough that I could not justify buying one product without the other.

Lost my original ear tips for iPhone. Someone had mentioned this product on a forum. I was hesitant at first at 14 dollars for 6 foam pieces, but the apple headphones were useless....... Sooooo I ordered..... And WOW! Delicious... Justin bieber never sounded so good. Just kidding. But seriously these are great besides the increased sound quality there are a few other benefits I like. -Will stay in your ear for working out - allows you to keep the volume lower since they block out sound -Increased bass!

These foam tips have made a disappointingly ordinary pair of in ear canal monitors into a pretty decent pair of in ear canal monitors. They fit the buds quite well, don't fall off like the cheesy Apple silicone tips and actually improve the sound, or probably more accurately said, finally allow me to hear what the drivers are actually capable of. I also own Etymotic ER-4 and Shure SE 530 in ear canal monitors. The Apples will never approach these other brands performance, not even with the improvements the Comply Foam tips bring. But while they won't make a silk purse out of a sow's ear, they finally let the Apples play for all they're worth. Bass is MUCH improved, (simply having a quieter background let's me hear more bass extension and detail than the original silicone tips ever did) and the mid-range is definitely more detailed. And the high frequencies seem smoother, less hashed than before. Again, it has to be the quieter background. My only complaint is the foam tip could be just a skosh longer for me, maybe I'll try the large size next time (I chose the medium size for my first order) to get a wee bit more penetration. I wear my ear buds for 8 to 12 hours at a time and while they NEVER come out, they do occasionally get oh so slightly loose. But NOT anything close to what what Apples were like. The Apple tips were loose every 15 to 20 minutes and WOULD actually fall out if I didn't constantly re-seat them. It would also be cool if they were washable, but I don't know if they are or aren't. Once my first pair is sufficiently soiled, I'll find out. In order to give full disclosure, the very nice lady from Comply (Hearing Components, Inc.) did give me a discount and THEN once I was ready to order asked me to write a review. But I assure you I wasn't swayed in my feelings by that. And if you think my opinion can be bought for ... when I have over $700 worth of in ear canal monitors then you are WAY too cynical for your own good. These tips are what should have come on the Apples in the first place. And now that I've learned what they can do for the mundane Apple buds, I'm going to take off the triple flanges on my Etymotics and Shures and install their originally supplied foam tips as well. If you are thinking about buying these, do it. You will seldom get as much performance improvement for only $15.00.
