How do I know if I found the right tip for my earbuds?

Use the Tip Finder tool to find the Comply™ foam tip for your earbuds. You may search device brand, model, or Comply product name to find the compatible tip. When you find your device, click on the “View Tips” button to proceed to the Comply product page. Was your earbud not listed? Please fill out our Device Request Form to notify our team about your earbuds. We have over 2000 compatible devices for Comply tips and your input helps build our compatibility library. Returns & Refunds

What is Comply's return policy?

We want you to be satisfied with your Comply Foam products and we will ensure you have tips that work for you. We do not require product returns when processed through the Guaranteed Fit Program (GFP).  Should you want a refund without a replacement through the GFP,  contact us to begin the return process. We are happy to process returns for unopened products purchased from complyfoam.com within the past 30 days.  Return shipping will be the customer's responsibility and original shipping will not be refunded. If the product is opened, our customer support team will work with you to find a possible solution.  Contact us For products purchased through other retailers, refunds are at the discretion of the individual retailer. Please contact the retailer for assistance.

Is there a warranty for Comply products?

Hearing Components warrants that reasonable care was used in the manufacture of these products and that the products meet specifications at the time of purchase. Hearing Components shall have no liability of any kind for any direct, indirect, incidental or consequential damages or expenses that arise from the use of these products. Some states do not allow the limitation or exclusion of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation may not apply to you. Customers’ sole remedy is to seek replacement of the product or a refund. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, which may vary from state to state. If you wish to make a direct claim, contact Hearing Components by emailing us at customer@complyfoam.com. Comply™ Foam Tips are manufactured under Hearing Components’ international equivalents for U.S. Patent numbers 4,880,076, 5,002,151, 7,236,605 and 7,864,973.

What is Comply's Guarantee?

Customers who purchase their tips from www.complyfoam.com are eligible for our Guaranteed Fit Program.  If you ordered the wrong core size or tip size, email us us within two weeks of receiving your order, and we’ll provide you with a store credit for the product that you can use to replace your tip with the right fit. Please note, this program only applies to earphones that we list as compatible on our website and the customer is responsible for shipping costs of the new product. If you purchased tips through one of our online partners such as Amazon or Bestbuy.com, please utilize their return and exchange process for replacing the tips.  Please note, we cannot process returns or exchanges for purchases made from other online partners.

How do I cancel or change my order?

We strive to provide a very fast turn-around from order placement to shipping. All orders ship within 1-2 business day. It may be possible to cancel or change your order during the processing period but once it has shipped, it cannot be cancelled or changed. Contact us at customer@complyfoam.com with your order number and request to see if you are eligible. Marking your email URGENT will help move it to the top of the que for quick review.

When will my order ship?

Typically, all orders ship the next business day. During promotion periods, or for new product launches, please allow additional time for your order to be fulfilled. Once the order ships, you will receive an email with the tracking information. Please allow 24 hours for the tracking information to update.

How do I manage my order tracking?

Tracking numbers are automatically generated and emailed on the day they are shipped from our Minnesota warehouse. Domestic options: UPSMI (UPS Mail Innovations) – Shipments are created through UPS and will have final delivery from the local post office. Delivery is generally 2-6 days depending on where you are located in the US. FedEx 2-Day – Shipments are delivered 2 days AFTER the ship date. Please note – FedEx does not deliver to PO boxes. If an order is received with a PO box shipping address, the package is automatically switched to UPSMI. International Options: UPSMI (UPS Mail Innovations) – Shipments are created through UPS and will have final delivery from the local post office. Delivery will vary from 5-20 days depending on location, transit times and local post service levels. FedEx International Priority – Delivery will vary from 4-10 business days depending on location. Customer will be responsible for duties and taxes before FedEx will deliver the package.

What if my package is lost or stolen?

Your local delivery or postal driver may choose to leave the package at the door or on your porch. We are not responsible for packages that are damaged, lost, or stolen after the driver confirms delivery of the package. If your tracking information for your package shows delivered and you can’t find it, please contact the carrier or your local post office, depending on your ship method, for assistance on locating your package. You may contact us at customer@complyfoam.com if you are unable to find resolution on your lost package with the carrier or post office.

What if I gave you the wrong shipping address?

If your tracking number indicates that your package is undeliverable, marked as "unclaimed," "return to sender," or is returned to us due to an incorrect or incomplete address, please promptly email us at customer@complyfoam.com. We will take immediate action and either ship out another package or issue a refund. Once the package successfully arrives back at our facility, our dedicated returns team will initiate the processing and issue a refund for the subtotal of your order. Note: Once we have processed a refund, it can take your bank anywhere from 2-8 business days to process the refund on their end and issue it back to your account. If the incorrect address is given at the time of order, you may contact the shipper or final mile carrier after the order has left our warehouse and ask them to forward or redirect your package. We are not responsible for packages that get lost, stolen, or damaged.

I lost my invoice, how do I get a new copy?

E-mail customer@complyfoam.com to request a new invoice. Once the product has shipped, our internal system automatically prepares an invoice that can be emailed as an attachment.

What do I need to know about my international order?

We process orders in US Dollars. Once payment has been processed, your provider will convert the charge into your currency. VAT, Taxes, and Duties – Customer Responsibility. We do not calculate or collect taxes/duties at time of payment. It is the purchaser’s responsibility to check and abide by their country’s local regulations and policies. It is the responsibility of the purchaser to be sure the Customs Department in the receiving country permits the contents of your order to enter your country and to understand the duties/tariffs requirements. We will not provide a refund on the shipping of the package if you refuse the package or if it is refused by customs due to regulations, taxes, or duties. For countries where parcel tracking services are not available, we cannot be held responsible for non-delivery.

Do you ship to military addresses?

We do ship to APO or FPO addresses. Standard shipping is the only option available for APO or FPO addresses. Shipping Times - Orders can take up to 14 business days when shipping to an APO or FPO. How long will my Comply ear tips last?

The lifespan for all Comply Foam ear tips tips depends on use and averages 2-3 months per pair. How you use the tips, body chemistry (earwax, oils, etc.), and the environment will affect how long your tips last. Replace when the tips start to flake, tear or lose their memory foam properties such as expanding too quickly. Tips will deteriorate if exposed to alcohol-based cleaners, hand sanitizers or lotions. Colored tips may fade with time, this is normal and does not affect performance.

How do I remove my Comply earbud tips?

While every earbud is unique, generally there is a recommended method to removing your ear tips. 1. Pinch both sides of the tip near the base using your index finger and your thumb. Prevent pealing the foam with your finger nails to avoid the inner core separating and sticking to the soundport. 2. After you have a firm grip, pull the tip straight off the device to remove entirely. 3. If you have questions or concerns regarding your tip removal, please contact our support team customer@complyfoam.com.

How can I clean my Comply ear tips?

If tips are not tearing or deteriorating, you may be able to extend the life of your tips by gently removing ear wax and debris. Do not clean tips when warm and soft just out of your ear. Once at room temperature, either use a Comply™ Tip Wipe or wash the tips in warm water, squish with a soft cloth and air dry before next use. Never use soap, detergent, or alcohol-based cleaners as they will break down the foam. We also recommend that you do not handle immediately after applying lotions or hand sanitizer. The Comply™ Tip Wipe is a dry wipe. Excessively cleaning the tips can decrease the lifespan and cause premature tears. We recommend replacing Comply™ Foam Tips about every 3 months or when they become soiled. Colored tips may fade with time, this is normal and does not affect performance.

How do I install my Comply ear tips?

Ensure tips are firmly installed on the device. Wireless devices may need the tip to be pushed on so the tip is flush with the earbud. After installation, quickly compress and roll the tip with your thumb and forefinger, insert and hold the device in place for a few seconds while the foam comfortably expands to fit your ear canal. Installing tips onto your earphones and inserting tips in your ear canals is easy. Check out this video.

Step One

Remove the stock ear tips from your wireless earbuds and install your Comply Foam tip.

Step Two

Firmly press Comply tip onto the soundport. Ensure the tip is secure before use.

Step Three

Once installed, roll the tip between your fingers into a thin, round cylinder.

Step Four

Gently insert the entire eartip into your ear and hold it in for 10-15 seconds.

We recommend you try the same size Comply tip that you use with your earbuds stock silicone tips. Our data has shown that up to 60% of the population uses medium. Comply tips don't fit me well. What should I do?

We have designed our tips to fit most customers’ ear canals and be the most comfortable ear tips on the market. There is a small percentage of people we are not able to fit. Here are some options for ensuring the best fit and that our tips work with your ears. Prepping the ear tips for insertions the first step. Quickly compress and roll the tip with your thumb and forefinger, insert and hold the device in place for a few seconds while the foam comfortably expands to fit your ear canal. With our Guaranteed Fit Program, you may need to try a different size. Here is the scale of sizing depending on the issue you are encountering: Pressure or pain – size down Earbuds pushing out – size down Earbuds falling out, especially if happening during exercise or activity – size up Outside noise leaking in or not a great seal – size up. Some earbuds use an APP or software to test for a proper seal. If you find you do not pass a fit test or active noise cancellation is affected, try adjusting the earbuds or you may need a larger size tip. There are times where the all-day comfort and security of the earbuds outweighs passing a fit or seal test. Sometimes my Comply foam tips interfere with closing the lid on my charging case. How can I stop this?

Due to the nature of our heat activated memory foam, our foam can expand after being in your ears. A slight squish of the tips as you put them into the charging case should allow the case to close and charging to occur without issue. This may be more prevalent with the size large tips. If the tips have been used often and you experience this issue often, it may be time to change your tips.

Our memory foam tips love the heat that your ears provide to create the perfect seal and make them comfortable all day. However, it is recommended that the tips be allowed to return to room temperature if exposed to extreme heat or cold.

I am not sure how your model number system works?

In the earbud world, there are many different sound port nozzles (the part that the ear tip attaches to) and charging case designs (for true wireless devices). To accommodate the wide variety of earbuds, Comply has engineered over 20 ear tips, allowing us to be compatible with over 2000 devices. Stamped.IO: this service sends emails to customers after purchases are completed to gather reviews and feedback on our products . Zendesk: this service allows us to provide customer service throughout the purchase process.

Klaviyo: this is an email and SMS marketing service we use to help promote deals and specials on our products as well as supply consumers with news about our company.

Google Analytics 4: We use this to evaluate the use of our Site and Services. We also use these tools to help us improve our Site, Services, performance, and user experiences. How long do we keep your data? We keep the data you have submitted to our site as long as you have an account with Hearing Components. We also keep some data for possible security investigation. Most importantly, we have specific obligations for fraud detection and tax reasons. Therefore, we might need to retain certain data even if you ask to delete it.

Do we have any legal obligations when handling your data? Hearing Components is continually renewing our dedication to our legal standards, and in the event of a legal investigation (i.e. fraudulent credit card purchases, etc.), we may be required to hand over data to the proper licensed professionals. How is my feedback and/or review processed?

If you have completed a purchase, we will send you an email to ask you to review the product you purchased. We want to be sure that whether you love your purchase or have feedback to help us make our product better, you can share your opinion with Hearing Components as well as other customers. Reviews will remain focused on the product. You are not required to publish your name and personal details.
