I've been using the same UE TripleFi10 earphones for over five years now, always with the supplied silicon tips. I can't believe what a massive improvement the Tsx500 tips have made. The sound quality has improved markedly, they exclude external sounds far more effectively and they are far more comfortable to boot. I couldn't be happier.

I have the Blue buds X and can't wear them for more than an hour without my ears hurting, I was going to return them to Best Buy, when a sales associate recommend the Comply ear buds as well as a customer. I went online and bought the comfort size large based on the reviews of them being small. They were too big for my ears and I could not wear them for more than an hour. I also could not return them or exchange them as they were opened. I am going to try them again in a size small as the sound quality was excellent and it blocked out all surrounding noise. I will do a review on those once I get them and try them out. I am a small 5'3" woman and just want a comfortable headset to run with. I am a small, 5'3" woman and just want a comfortable headset to run with. Hope this review helps.

... these bad boys turn it up to eleven!
The isolation on these tips are so impressive, I can't hear a thing outside my head, which is great at work while trying to avoid distracting noises like colleagues on the telephone, machine noise, project managers :-), etc.

I have been a user of the T-500 tips for my Ultimate Ears Super Fi 5 Pro's for around a year. They were better for me than the UE stock buds, but I always had a slight niggling feeling, against them. I had to get the large size to fit the diameter, but found them a touch long, so fit was never quite perfect.
Now, along come the TS-500's which sounded ideal. Fatter and shorter sounded exactly what I needed. I got the medium size, and the fit is perfect for me. Exactly the right diameter to give a close fit, but short enough to be neither feel poked too far in, or feel like they are falling out. I literally haven't had them out of my ears since I got them this morning - still feel great, no ache or ear tiredness. I'm sooo happy.

The Ts500s are great, I am using them with my Sennheiser IE7s. The stock tips of the IE7s were a little loose for me and had a tendency to shift in my ear but these round tips seal and hold on to my ear so well that the I don't have to keep readjusting the earpieces anymore. Very comfortable for me.
I think they are an improvement to the design of the T400 - a little shorter and a little rounder. They do muffle the sound a tiny bit but they still provide great mids and vocals while smoothing out the lower treble. I can still hear reverbs and echoes clearly. Plus there was very little loss in bass.
