I have been searching for years for the right pair of earplugs for audio pleasure. Little did I know that a set of foam tips could change the way I listen to music! An incredible upgrade for sound, comfort, and durability. Sure, the silicon tips last longer but they do not stay snug, do not block sound out, nor do they enrich the sound quality!
I full recommend this product and will continue to purchase these tips for life.

Let me start by saying I don't feel compelled to write many reviews. I'm an Amazon Prime member and buy all sorts of items on the web but I don't generally take the time to report back. But I am so happy with this product that I had just had to...
I just added these to my Klipch Image S4 buds. I was previously using the rubber tips that came with the S4s and they just didn't stay put in my ears or make a good seal for long. I was using the largest size that came with the S4s and they still didn't work well. If I shoved the factory tips in as far as they would safely go they would make a decent seal and then sound fairly good. You could hear the bass fairly well and life was "OK".
The problem was that I was using the earbuds for running. After a minute or two of the cord tugging at the buds and my ears being sweaty made the factory tips lose seal and start sounding very flat. I found myself constantly adjusting them and shoving them back deeper inside my ear to try to get a seal. Since I noticed the sound and volume being significantly better when they were properly seated I decided to look around for larger tips. Thats when I found these Comply TX-100s.
Based on the number of good reviews I figured I should try them. I thought the price was a little steep for what they are (that's why they are only getting 4 stars and not 5) but it sounded like the best solution.
After measuring the factory tips I was using I decided to order the large size which seemed to be just very slightly wider. I just tried them on my first "trial run" and WOW!!!
These things really brought my S4 buds to life!!! The sound quality was improved drammatically (even when compared to the factory tips while making a good seal). The volume was improved drastically as well. Before with the factory tips I found myself cranking the volume on my iPhone up to 100%. With these comply tips I was hearing bass notes and everything SO MUCH clearer at a volume level of only 50%. Once it got past 60-70% it was just too loud...
And the best part was that I ran for 25 minutes without the tips ever losing seal. Not even once... I broke a good sweat and JAMMED the entire run. Just an FYI - I'm thinking I might even could use a size XL but I can't say that for sure. The Large size that I got did make a seal without fail for my entire run but one of them felt like it could be tighter. Only time will tell. I guess I have large ear canals lol. I would recommend to anyone buying these to measure what you have already and choose wisely. Buying the various size pack may be the best approach...
In closing my only thought is this:
Why don't ALL earbud manufacturers include these from the start??? I think most of them are really diminishing the value of their product by not providing a tip that will make the most of the drivers. I just knew my S4 buds could sound so much better and now they DO!!!

these would be a five star product if they lasted longer, but after a month or so the foam will start to crack and break away. still worth it, but you'll end up paying more than you think. if you listen as much as i do (40+ hours a week), that can be a problem. i'm not sure if i'm being unreasonable, but i've never had to replace a silicone pair with similar usage.
that aside, it is a wonderful product. blocks out enough of the outside world (i work in a factory with loud machinery, this is paramount), stay in your ear securely and can even withstand a little tug or snag on the cable without flying out. and of course, they make the ear buds sound great. i have small ear canal and even the smallest silicone buds (which last forever, sadly, unlike these) slip out of my ears. or i can hear the seal breaking if i'm chewing gum. very annoying. none of that with these.

Traveling used to involve large over the ear noise cancelling headphones which were also cumbersome to carry to other events or places I may want to just tune out and relax to some tunes. Not anymore, these tips not only give that proper seal all ear buds needs to perform properly, but they are also a life saver when I travel or go to places where I want to enter my own mental world without outside distractions. They are not 100% noise isolation, but very close to a set of earplugs with the added benefit of being part of the headphones. A proper seal is critical to any ear bud - most manufacturers tips stink at getting that optimal seal - these do it, they do it well, and they are comfortable - you cannot go wrong with these tips - try them and experience the difference! You owe it to yourself to hear quality sound without the external noise interference.

I got my Klipsch Image S4s a few months back and the first day I used the S4s, the stock silicone tips didn't fit well with my ears. I searched around for replacements that I thought would fit my ears and found Comply Foam tips and I was impressed! These things feel great in my ear and seal well against outer noise. The wax guard is an added bonus to keep your IEMs safe from waxy harm. The only cons I would note is: A) price and B) longevity. Yes, these tips don't come cheap but for me, they are definitely worth every penny (since my ear canals are oddly shaped.) Longevity seems to be a problem because a couple of them haven't lasted for me for more than 2 months (they both tore.) But I bought a 2nd pair because these things are a God-send for my ears. If you are in need of good, comfortable ear tips that provide an incredible seal from outer noise for your earbuds, then I recommend these!

I used to lug my large noise canceling headphones with me when I travel. No longer! I bought these tips to use with my Etymotic Hf 2 earphones and I haven't turned back! They provide a better and more consistent seal than what is included with the Hf 2s and much better isolation. These tips are also very comfortable. I also thought about custom eartips, but I don't think that's necessary anymore since I found these.

I purchased these to replace the factory Westone tips and they have significantly improved the sound quality. The fit is great and I really like the wax guard which I hope will provide more protection to the electronics.

See my YouTube review here: http://youtu.be/eAyWgTLZ3XA I love them, only complaint is after less than a month 1 pair has already torn, wondering if the filter stresses the foam? Otherwise amazing sound!!

These tips are really SOFT. No joke. They are really fluffy, like marshmallows. Just press the tips and they'll become compact and QUICKLY put'em in your ears before they fluff back up. These foam tips fit snuggly in my wide, irregular ear canals. After wearing them for about 2 hours, they will not give you that wriggly-worm itchy feeling in your ears. Majority of the time. Sometimes the itchiness happens maybe because skin is irritated by the dust on the foam tips, that's all. There is also that fluffing feeling in your ears when you put the foam tips in your ears and they start to take the shape of your ear canal to ensure optimum comfort and isolation.
The isolation that the foam tips provide are rather impressive. With the silicon tips that were provided with the Image S4's, I couldn't get a good fit firstly due to the fact that they were kinda small for my ears, and secondly because they would not take the shape of your ear like the foam tips do. An example is like when you enter a crowded swimming pool complex. It is rowdy and noisy all around, but once you are submerged in the pool, you can still hear some of the ambient noise and the rowdiness of the crowd, but now it is muffled and not as loud. It's almost the same when you put on the foam tips. Therefore, with more isolation, the quality of the music would go up a tad bit too.

I recently purchased a set of Etymotic HF-3 In-Ear Monitors. All of the tips that came with them were uncomfortable and wouldn't seal well in my ears. I researched for a couple hours and found that these were rated best on about 5 different sites. So I thought I would give them a try. With these Comply TX-100 foam eartips, I can hear the music more clearly and fully, block out ALL noise around me, and I could actually now hear that my Etymotic's had full bass and rich sound. I sit at a desk for 9 hours a day and my ears are never uncomfortable or aching. I am very pleased with this product and would recommend them to anyone.
