“By golly, it really WORKS!!”

I have tried about 5 brands of Wireless, and about 3 brands of Wired, headphones since I bought my iPhone in June 2007. These are the BEST hands down -- because they WORK: I can hear and I can be heard -- consistently. Plus, they're comfortable enough that I can forget that I am wearing them: the gold standard. Moreover, they've held up to my daily-wear abuse -- more than I can say for some. All my other sets are in the closet. I'm gonna order a spare set, so I have it handy when I finally manage to break these.

Having owned the great Comply NR-10 earphones, I was anxious to try the new NR-10i for the iPhone. As expected, they delivered the same outstanding audio quality with music. The quality of the microphone on the cable surprised me, because people I spoke with couldn’t tell the difference between the mic and the built-in iPhone mic, and there is usually some difference. I also like the noise reduction memory foam tips, especially since I don’t have to turn up the volume to compensate for external noise that is nicely dampened, and they are very comfortable. The one button works well for hanging up calls and pausing/advancing music, just like one would expect. As an audiophile, I’ve spent a lot of time and money testing different earphones in all price ranges and am very picky with what I use daily. I recommend these without hesitation to anyone who wants great quality and features for a very respectable price. Thanks to Comply for ending my quest.

I must have a dozen pair of headphones ranging in price from $40 - $400. I only use in the ear monitors once I found out about them. There are three things that these things must accomplish to satisfy. 1. Have a very deep "throw" into the ear canal. There is no other way to make sure they stay in and the seal is maintained. Others that I have barely make it inside and I was constantly adjusting the seal. Or lack of. 2. Use a material that is comfortable and maintains the seal. The tips for these are just the best. All of the best IEM companies recommend Comply tips. Before I got these, I was using a pair with plastic tips. They drove me nuts. I had to take them out every 15 minutes and scratch the inside of my ear. The "foam" tips that usually come with other brands do not seal well, do not go deep enough and are uncomfortable. The material that Comply makes is absolutely the best, period. I had them on for about fours hours last night and had no sense of having anything on my head or in my ears. Amazing. Well done, Comply. 3. Make them sound good. The NR-10i sound terrific. Is it the driver and design? Or the fact that the phones seal so deeply and comfortably? Probably a bit of both. Very highly recommended. Build quality is excellent. And the mic and buttons work great. For $99... a steal. Thank you again, Comply.
