Comply™ NR-10 earphones were engineered to maximize noise reduction, effectively blocking more noise than the leading noise cancellation earphones; even earning an amazing Noise Reduction Rating (NRR) of 29dB! Combining extreme noise reduction and a compact design make these earphones the perfect travel accessory. Additionally, they feature Comply™ Foam Tips which provide super soft comfort and a stay-in-ear fit for today’s active lifestyles.  
 
The included Comply™ Foam Tips are made from unique breathable memory foam that is activated by body heat and becomes ultra soft, reducing irritation and fatigue. Once inside the ear, this foam will expand to create a seal, funneling pure sound into the ear canal, enhancing the listening experience. The comfortable seal allows music to be enjoyed without raising the volume level to compensate for external noise. The length and tapered design of the P-series tips allow for deep insertion, providing maximum noise reduction and in-ear retention.
 
The gold-plated 3.5 mm plug works with most portable music sources (iPod®, Zune®, etc), CD/DVD entertainment systems, laptop computers and gaming devices (Sony® PSP, Nintendo® DS, etc). The integrated slide control makes it easy to adjust volume levels quickly and easily. Each NR-10 earphone comes with 1-pair standard-size and 1-pair slim-size Comply™ Foam Tips, plus a deluxe travel case with storage for extra foam tips.

    “Extremely Comfortable - Have fallen asleep in bed several times listening to music or TV”

    Sounds great. Extremely comfortable. I really like the volume adjustment. Before traveling on a helicopter or C130 I set the earphone volume on minimum and my MP3 player to a comfortable level. I then adjust the earphone volume to compensate for the additional noise from the aircraft. I would like the earphone cable to come with a removable and rotating alligator clip to secure the cord when wearing my battle rattle. I took an alligator clip off a Plantronics headset. It works great on the Complyfoam earphone cable. I'm from the era when men equated value with weight. The cables seem flimsy, but I have rolled around asleep in bed several times with them staying in place and with no problems. I am waiting for reviews on the NR-ICS All-in-One Sterio MP3 Mobile Phone Earsets before I make a purchase.

    “Outstanding product with comparable customer service”

    I've been using the NR-10 comply earphones for over a year almost daily at the gym. Not only have I found them extremely comfortable but they did as advertsied and reduced the ambient noise of the loud music typically played at fitness centers to the point that it was unoticeable. Unfortunately, the left channel recently failed, which prompted a call to Hearing components for assistance. I shipped the earphones back for repair and was surprised one week later to recieve a new pair of earphones. Now that's customer service. No hassle, no questions just service. Thanks Joseph. You have a customer for life!

    “Only 5 stars they should be a 10!”

    I have a set of quiet comfort Bose headphone which I love and I rate a 10. They are great on airplanes ect. There only draw back is there not easy to keep on your head working out side, bike riding, joging ect. This was my reason for buying the NR-10. They fit comfortably in my ears never fall out and they are wonderfully quiet! I rate these a 10 too! You couldn't ask for more and at great price too!

    “Comfortable fit, good sound and effective noise reduction”

    I bought these on a recommendation through the Washington Post travel section. They praised the noise reduction capability when used on planes as well as the overall sound quality and fit. I almost balked at the price (I guess I'm a bit of a cheapskate) but once I tried them I was impressed and pleased. I listen to audiobooks often but the Metro train noise forced me to put the volume too high on regular earbuds. These earphones allow me to keep the volume levels at a normal range in noisy situations. They are very comfortable that I'm tempted to use them always but I can't hear people trying to get my attention so they aren't appropriate for all situations.

    “first in-ear phones I've liked”

    I've been using these for months now and really like them. I've tried other in-ear products and could never get a tight fit that was comfortable The combination of foam with a smooth coating makes these easy to insert, comfortable to wear, and effective in blocking outside sound. I use these on the Washington DC Metro almost daily, and find them very effective in keeping out the background noise (ventilation fans, whir and squeak of the wheels, etc., allowing you to listen to music without cranking up the volume. I like these so much I've switched over from active cancellation headphones to these.
